Most people believe you need lakhs of rupees, a technical co-founder, and months of work to start a business. That was true a few years ago. It isn’t anymore.
Today, with the right AI tools, any non-technical person can start a business with AI — going from ‘I don’t even have an idea’ to ‘my business is live’ — for under ₹5,000.” No coding. No agency. No staff to begin with.
I’m going to give you the exact roadmap I teach in my sessions, step by step, in plain language. This is Day 50 of my free “100 Days of AI” series, and it ties together everything the series has covered so far.
(This is the master roadmap. Each step below has a full, detailed guide of its own — I’ll link those as we go.)
India mein AI ki kami nahi, AI ki samajh ki kami hai.
The ₹5,000 breakdown (so you know where every rupee goes)
Before we start, here’s exactly how the budget splits. Seeing it upfront makes the whole thing feel real:
₹2,000 — Claude subscription (to generate your idea, business plan, and website)
₹1,000 — a domain name (your website address, e.g. yourbusiness.com)
₹2,000 — Gemini subscription (for all your marketing — Google presence, images, and reels)
That’s it. ₹5,000, and you have a real business with a website and a marketing engine.
Step 1 — Find your business idea to start a business with AI (₹0, using Claude)
You don’t need a “million-dollar idea” to start. You need a good enough idea in a field you understand. AI can hand you several in minutes.
Open Claude’s chat, and ask it for 5 to 10 business ideas related to your field. Don’t type a lazy one-liner — give it a proper prompt (this is where my RECIPE framework helps you get expert-level answers instead of generic ones). Tell it your city, your budget, your skills, and what kind of work you enjoy.
Read the ideas it gives you, and pick the ONE that excites you the most. That’s your starting point.
(New to prompting? Read my RECIPE prompting framework first — it’s the one skill that makes every AI tool below work 10x better.)
Step 2 – Turn that idea into a business plan (using Claude Cowork)
An idea in your head is just a wish. A written plan is a business. Luckily you don’t have to write it yourself.
Take the idea you selected, go to Claude’s Cowork, and ask it to create a complete business plan for that idea. Give it a clear prompt about your goals. In a couple of minutes it will produce a proper plan document – target customers, offerings, rough pricing, and a starting strategy — laid out for you.
Step 3 – Build your website (using Claude Code, no coding)
This is the part that used to cost the most and scare people the most. Not anymore.
Take the business plan document from Step 2, open Claude Code, upload the plan, and simply tell it: “I want to create a website for this business.” Claude will build you a real, working website based on your plan.
So from “I didn’t even have an idea” you now have a live website – and the only tool you used was Claude.
(Want the full build process – idea to website – with every click? That’s covered in detail in my guide on [building a business from zero with AI]. Add your internal link to Blog 1 here.)
Step 4 – Buy your domain (₹1,000)
Your website needs an address people can visit. That’s your domain name – like yourbusiness.com.
Buy one for around ₹1,000 from any domain provider and connect it to your website. Now your business has a real, professional home on the internet that you own.
Step 5 – Set up your marketing with Gemini (₹2,000)
A website nobody can find is like a shop in a locked basement. The remaining ₹2,000 goes to Gemini, which becomes your entire marketing team.
Get found locally – Google Business Profile. First, create a Google Business Profile for your business. Then give Gemini access to it. Gemini will prepare and optimise your profile so it ranks well when nearby customers search — and it can even draft and post replies to your reviews.
Create your visuals — for free. Go into Gemini’s image feature and generate attractive, professional images for your business — the kind brands pay photographers lakhs for. Post those to your Instagram.
Create your reels — for free.In Gemini’s video feature, generate short reels related to your business and post those to Instagram too. Reels are what the algorithm pushes right now, so this is how new people discover you.
(The full marketing playbook — Google Business ranking, product photoshoots, and reels with Gemini — is in my guides on [ranking on Google & AI] and [free photos & videos with Gemini]. Add your internal links to Blog 4 and Blog 3 here.)
And just like that — you have a business
Look at what you built:
- A validated idea (Claude)
- A written business plan (Claude Cowork)
- A live website on your own domain (Claude Code + ₹1,000 domain)
- A Google presence, professional images, and reels (Gemini)
From zero to a marketed business — total spend under ₹5,000.
What comes next — hiring your first “employees”
Once your business starts moving, you’ll need help — someone to reply to customers, handle emails, remember your regulars, and keep marketing running. And here too, AI is your first hire. You can set up AI “employees” that work 24/7 without a salary.
The point of all this is simple. The barrier to starting a business used to be money, technical skills, and a team. AI has quietly removed all three. What’s left is the one thing that was always yours: the decision to begin.
If a non-technical B.Com graduate like me — who once sold newspapers and faced 12 job rejections — can build with these tools, so can you.
AI aapki job nahi leta, wo insaan leta hai jisne AI seekh liya.
Can I really start a business in ₹5,000 with no technical skills?
Yes. The entire roadmap above is designed for non-technical people. Claude builds your plan and website from plain instructions, and Gemini handles your marketing. The ₹5,000 covers a Claude subscription (₹2,000), a domain (₹1,000), and a Gemini subscription (₹2,000).
Do I need to know coding to build the website?
No. Claude Code builds the website from your business plan and a simple instruction like “create a website for this business.” You never write a line of code.
Which AI tools do I need?
Two paid tools — Claude (for idea, plan, and website) and Gemini (for marketing: Google Business, images, and reels) — plus a domain name. That’s the full ₹5,000 stack.
What do I do after the business is set up?
Set up AI “employees” to handle customer replies, emails, and daily marketing so your business runs 24/7. This is covered in a separate guide in the series.
